CeMAT Asia setting new records

Registering growth on all fronts – the number of exhibitors and the amount of display space sold – the PTC ASIA and CeMAT ASIA 2010 again triumphed as one of the leading exhibition platforms for the international power transmission/fluid power and materials handling industry, thus building new momentum for the industry. Over the four days of the shows from October 25 to 28, PTC ASIA and CeMAT ASIA delivered the good sign of 1,609 exhibitors with a total display area of 95,000 sq m. Two shows totally welcomed 42,933 trade visitors from 80 countries and regions seeking business opportunities at the single place, 10% increase of international visitors.

Beneficial from the economy recovery, CeMAT ASIA this year attracted a big number of industry giants coming back to the show, surging in its display area of 26,000 sqm. Highlighted with specific divided exhibit categories and client-oriented service, 402 exhibitors were presenting their cutting-edge technologies and products in sectors of Forklifts and Forklift Accessories, Pallet Rack and Cranes, Transportation Equipment, AUTO-ID and AGV. CEOs from the headquarters of quite a few multinational companies made their way to the CeMAT ASIA and talked business. Automation technology once again sparkled the show, setting new trends for the modern logistics with the on-site tangible product showcasing from domestic well-known companies.

LogiMAT 2010 in Stuttgart again sets new records for visitors and exhibitors
As the doors closed on the eighth edition of Europe´s largest annual trade fair for distribution, materials handling and information flow, LogiMAT in Stuttgart, more new records were set for exhibitor and visitor participation.
763 exhibitors (+6.7 percent) from 23 countries on 52,000 square metres of exhibition space have made LogiMAT 2010, which took place from 2 to 4 March, into the intralogistics event of the year, highly regarded across Europe. "

The number of trade visitors this year – 19,400 – outstripped the previous year´s figure of 16,250 by 19.4 percent. According to a survey by conducted by Wissler & Partner market researchers of Basel, a good third of the visitors made their way to LogiMAT 2010 from a distance of over 200 km. The growing international representation among the exhibitors at the fair (14.5 percent) was also reflected on the visitor side: the main countries of origin from outside Germany were Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and Denmark.

Visitor interest was divided virtually equally across the exhibition sections of warehousing logistics, operational equipment, robot technology, hoists, conveyor belts and forklifts, RFID technology and packaging systems.
LogiMAT 2011 takes place from 8 to 10 February 2011 at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre.

CeMAT Asia 2009 - Shanghai 


Chalking up an increase both in the number of exhibitors and in rented display space, the trade fair combination of PTC ASIA and CeMAT ASIA has triumphed again as a leading exhibition platform for the international power transmission/fluid power and materials handling industries. Held from 26-29 October at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, the two trade shows saw numbers up, with 1,687 exhibitors (6.5% increase compared with 2008).

As the region's leading exhibition for materials handling and intralogistics, CeMAT ASIA 2009 highlighted two important sectors - AUTO-ID and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) technology. Some 380 exhibitors from these sectors occupied a display space of 23,000 square metres. The presentation of AUTO-ID, which is closely linked to logistics, experienced a successful debut this year and won the approval of trade visitors.
On the basis of steady growth over several years, both PTC ASIA and CeMAT ASIA have developed into an international meeting-place and platform for the initiation of new business contacts and the cultivation of relations with existing business partners. The supporting program has grown in size and popularity too.

The next PTC ASIA and CeMAT ASIA are scheduled to take place from 25 to 28 October 2010 in Shanghai.

Carefully optimistic

There was no sign of the financial and economic crisis at Europe´s largest annual intralogistics fair. On the contrary: 16,400 trade visitors came along between 3 and 5 March 2009 to make full use of LogiMAT 2009 in Stuttgart, as their information platform. That was a new visitor record for LogiMAT, which with 716 exhibitors on 52,000 square metres of space can once again boast double-digit percentage growth.

ProMAT January 2009 - Chicago/USA 


Mias presented itself again to the North American market of logistics at the ProMat 2009

ProMat 2009 featured 729 exhibits covering 305,000 net square feet, representing the largest ProMat in the event’s history. The event is the material handling and logistics industry's premier North American trade event and was held January 12-15, 2009 in Chicago’s McCormick Place South. ProMat is sponsored by Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA). ProMAT covers manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, logistics and IT solutions for the supply chain.

CeMAT Asia October 2008 - Shanghai/China 


At the end of October 09 CeMAT Asia and PTC Asia closed their doors after four successful days. Round about 1700 exhibitors on a space of 80.000 sqm presented newest trends in the field of intralogistics as well as drive engineering and fluid technology. An estimated 45 .000 visitors took the opportunity to get informed about groundbreaking technologies. MIAS exhibited for the second time: "Fortunately German know-how enjoys an excellent reputation in China," says Dr. Johannes Fottner, MD of MIAS "and we were able to establish numerous valuable contacts. Based on the good show we are going to exhibit again in Shanghai in 2010."
